Chief Accounting Officer responsible for coordinating and supervising all accounting and financial activities of the University, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor through the Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• General administration of financial and accounting operations
• Implementation of accounting systems and procedures
• Management of advances and imprest accounts
• Oversight of revenue collection and fraud prevention
• Custodianship of all accounting documentation

Initial term of 4 years, renewable for up to 3 additional years (not exceeding age 60).

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
• Active membership in a recognized professional accounting body (ICA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification professional accounting experience
• Prior service as Deputy Director of Finance in a university setting
• Substantial knowledge of university financial administration
